The Light Through the Forest was inspired by my time exploring the forests of Oregon. Towering evergreens surrounded the trail, allowing only ribbons of golden light to reach the path below. Standing there, I realized I wasn't simply looking at trees—I was experiencing hope.

As I painted this piece, I thought about the seasons in life when the path ahead isn't completely clear. We move forward without knowing exactly what lies beyond the next step. Yet, with patience and perseverance, the light continues to grow brighter.

Using bold impressionistic brushstrokes and vibrant color, I wanted to capture both the beauty of the forest and the quiet reminder that even uncertain journeys can lead us toward something extraordinary.
